Michael J. Sullivan was appointed to the Council of the American Delegation on January 26, 2006 and currently holds the rank of Knight Commander of Merit.
Michael J Sullivan was born in 1955 in Maryland. In 1977 Mr. Sullivan graduated from Mount St. Mary’s College with a bachelors of Science degree in business and finance. In 1986 he married Laura Blair by whom he has two daughters.
Mr. Sullivan’s career is in real estate, land development, and Banking. In 1994, he and a partner founded Cherrywood Development, L.L.C., a land development firm.
Mr. Sullivan was an original incorporator of The Washington Savings Bank. He has remained active in the bank as a board director, as well as being the chair of the Audit Committee. Among other appointments Mr. Sullivan is the president of the Smallwood Foundation.
