Dear Confreres and Consoeurs,

It is my pleasure to announce and invite you our 2011 investiture that will be held in Los Angeles, July 14th through 17th. As we plan for our Investiture in Los Angeles, I would like to take this opportunity as Delegate, to share some thoughts and give you my warmest greetings.

The Order has come a long way since our last gathering in New York last year. We have not only managed to increase our membership across the country, but also position ourselves as an important part of the Order internationally. Our regional leadership program has expanded and through that, we hope to expand our collective efforts.

We are all very grateful for all the work and enthusiasm you all have shown and wish to continue developing and cultivating the virtues that we as Knights and Dames live by. Some of these ideas were discussed in New York at our last Council meeting, especially those of Spirituality, Service, Chivalry, Continuity, and Communication. As you all know, our Confreres and Consoeurs from around the country and indeed the world champion many worthwhile projects. This year we hope to illuminate these noble labors more so that our confraternity can learn and possibly be inspired by our mutual efforts.

The Los Angeles host committee has worked tirelessly to plan an exciting California welcome for our members.  I know you will want to share in the excitement.  For all those arriving on Thursday, please join our own Lady Patricia Kennedy at Elevate Lounge for an evening to remember. Friday evening’s activity includes dinner and surprise entertainment at the Omni Hotel in Downtown Los Angeles on their California Plaza. Following the members luncheon at the Omni's Noé Restaurant, the Investiture Ceremony will take place at The Cathedral of Our Lady of the Angels in Downtown Los Angeles on Saturday, July 16 at 3:00 PM, followed by the Gala at The Jonathon Club & Tuscan Terrace. Following Sunday mass and procession, we will return to the Omni and our weekend will culminate with brunch on the Grand Café Terrace, overlooking the Museum of Contemporary Art.
 
Hotel Accommodation is available to us at The Omni Hotel in Downtown Los Angeles at a rate of $169 a night until June 14.  Registration and reservation details are available.
