Redemptoris Mater Seminary
The Constantinian Order supports a seminarian of the Redemptoris Mater. In 2001 our prior Cardinal McCarrick founded the Redemptoris Mater Seminary here in Washington, DC. The seminarians come from many different countries including Brazil, the Dominican Republic, Ecuador, El Salvador, France, Hungary, Italy, India, Paraguay, Poland, and Spain. Each seminarian is a member of the Neocatechumenal Way, a group founded in Madrid by Kiko Argüello during the Second Vatican Council. There are one million members worldwide who are dedicated to propagating the faith, catechesis, and faith formations. The efforts of the Way and the Redemptoris Mater Seminary in Washington, DC has been fruitful, in that there have been 7 priest ordained to the Archdiocese of Washington alone. With our joint effort we hope to continue to grow faith through investing in our future leaders in the Church.
